The ideal place to enjoy peace and nature

Coldimolino is perched on a hill overlooking the verdant Umbrian plain not far from Gubbio, one of the most charming medieval towns in Italy. The olive groves and the Mediterranean macchia all around provide the whole complex with a unique setting. The structure consists of two distinct units: Villa Nuti and the Country House. Villa Nuti dates back to the beginning of the 18th century. It was created, together with the Church of St. Michael, in an ancient rural village, as a manor house where the high-born family Nuti used to live. The small Church of St. Michael the Archangel was blessed in 1754 during the celebration for the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and is still consecrated. It is currently used to perform regular religious functions on feast days and other small events, such as baptisms, anniversaries and weddings. Both Villa Nuti and the Church overlook a fascinating small square (piazzetta) with a breathtaking view instilling a sense of serenity and peace.
